Sweet Treat

From the looks of it, Meghan’s entrepreneurial spirit was alive and well even at a young age. To celebrate the launch of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder in April 2025, Meghan shared a carousel of sweet (pun intended) photos on Instagram from her Girl Scout days.

In the first photo, Meghan was all smiles while wearing a brown Girl Scouts uniform and holding what appeared to be a box of the organization’s cookies.

“Being an entrepreneur can start young. (By the way, all these years later and I’m still selling cookies!) 🍪,” she captioned the photos, nodding to her lifestyle brand As ever‘s shortbread butter cookies with flower sprinkles.

Girls Being Girls

Meghan and her Girl Scouts troop pose for a fun picture with her mom, Doria Ragland. The Duchess revealed to PEOPLE that she made a special connection to her past through daughter, Princess Lilibet.

“Funny enough, on Lili’s first day of pre-K, one of the moms came up to me at drop-off, and I realized we were in our troop together!” Meghan told PEOPLE. “It was so sweet and nostalgic.”

Heart of Gold

Meghan’s L.A. high school, Immaculate Heart, celebrated the renewal of her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, with a throwback photo from her days on campus.

“We’re delighted to share a special throwback photo from her time at Immaculate Heart, honoring our cherished tradition of Mary’s Day, a reflection of our legacy of sisterhood, support and Panda spirit,” the school’s Instagram account captioned the photo on March 18, 2025.

Meghan shared the pic on Instagram, writing, “When your dear friend from middle school/high school sends you something from your Alma mater and it brings the biggest smile to your face. Go Pandas!”

College Days

Meghan, pictured here in her 2000-2001 class portrait, was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at Northwestern University.

Back in L.A.

After graduating from college, Meghan moved back to L.A. to launch her acting career.

Her first nonspeaking gig was on a 2002 episode of General Hospital.

She also appeared as a briefcase girl on Deal or No Deal in 2006.

“There was a very cookie-cutter idea of precisely what we should look like. It was solely about beauty — and not necessarily about brains,” Meghan said of the stereotypes surrounding the job during a 2022 episode of her Archetypes podcast.

Meghan garnered small acting parts before breaking out as paralegal Rachel Zane on Suits.

New Beginnings

Meghan wed Trevor Engelson in September 2011 after seven years of dating. They separated in the summer of 2013 and finalized their divorce the following year. After their marriage dissolved, Meghan continued her humanitarian work, speaking passionately about women’s rights and advocating for diverse beauty ideals.

A “blind date,” as Harry and Meghan described their first meeting in July 2016, changed everything.

In November 2017, the couple announced their engagement in London, making Meghan the first American actress since Grace Kelly to marry into a royal family.

Wedding Bells

Harry and Meghan wed at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in England on May 19, 2018. The Duchess of Sussex, as she would now be known, wore a Givenchy gown designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller and an intricate, hand-stitched veil featuring flowers from all 53 British Commonwealth countries, as well as her home state’s official flower, the California Poppy, and Wintersweet, which grows in the grounds of Kensington Palace in London.

Archie Joins the Family

Meghan and Harry welcomed their first child, son Prince Archie, on May 6, 2019.

“He has the sweetest temperament,” the proud first-time mom shared. “He’s really calm.”

Archie’s first official engagement came in September 2019, when the infant joined his parents on their royal tour of South Africa, pictured above.

Lilibet Makes Four

Two years later, the arrival of baby Princess Lilibet on June 4, 2021, made the Sussexes a complete family of four.

“To have a boy, then a girl — what more can you ask for?” Harry said when the couple revealed their second child would be a daughter during their March 2021 sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The couple also added that “two is it” as far as children were concerned.
