Sheep farmer Will Young, 26, and Jessie Wynter, 29, are engaged to be married after he got down on one knee almost one month ago in a secret proposal.
The couple, who met on the iconic reality series in 2023, got engaged in secret on December 9, 2025.
Taking to his Instagram page on Sunday (January 4), Will revealed he got down on one knee and popped the question to the love of his life a few weeks ago.
“The love of my life said yes. 09.12.25,” he said at the start of the caption accompanying a series of sweet snaps.
In the snaps, Will could be seen down on one knee as he asked the all important question.
Other photos saw them embracing, dancing, and sitting at a table which was decorated in white floral arrangements.
One snap was a close up of the huge sparkler, and another photo was a selfie of the newly-engaged couple.
In the caption, Will went on to say: “On the 9th of December I asked Jessie to marry me.
“Since then, we’ve been celebrating with each other and Jessie’s family, just us, with no outside noise, exactly how we wanted it.
“We wanted to soak up this moment together and be fully present before sharing it with the world.
“We still feel like we’re living in a dream. I can’t believe we’re engaged. My heart has never felt so full of love.”
He admitted “it wasn’t easy” but affirmed that “every second was worth it”.
Will continued his caption and gushed about his wife-to-be in the process.
“Jessie deserves the world and I can’t wait to spend my life giving it to her.
“Since we met on Love Island three years ago I’ve been the happiest boy in the world.
“From the very beginning I knew I wanted Jessie to be my fiancée, I just knew it had to be perfect.”
Recalling the moment he proposed, Will revealed how he took Jessie to the east coast of Tasmania in Australia, which is where he popped the question.
“I searched everywhere for the right place. I know how much she loves the ocean and the mountains and there’s nowhere she loves more than home.
“Every time we come to Tasmania Jessie takes me to her favourite views and just sits and admires how beautiful Tasmania is, so when I found this spot, I knew it was the one.
“We are so incredibly happy,” he added.
Concluding the caption, Will wrote: “I love you with all my heart, Jessie and I promise to love you for the rest of my life.
“Here’s to making you the happiest girl in the world, forever. And thank you for making me the happiest man alive.”
Jessie commented on the post, writing: “The most perfect day. I love you so much.”
