Keith Urban is reportedly hoping to repair his relationship with Nicole Kidman months after reports of their shocking split.

According to RadarOnline, the former American Idol judge regrets how things ended and is said to be open to reconciling with the Babygirl actress.

A source told the outlet that, while Urban believed they could work through their differences, Kidman had already decided to move on.

“Keith absolutely wanted Nicole back,” the insider claimed. “He believed they could work through their problems. Nicole had already moved on.”

Nicole Kidman Moves On – Wants Peaceful Co-Parenting With Keith Urban

According to the report, Kidman is now focused on maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship with Urban for the sake of their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

“Nicole made it clear the marriage was over,” the source claimed, adding that “romance is off the table.”

In March, Kidman reflected on the changes in her life following the reported split.

“I am [doing alright], because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” the actress told Variety. “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward.”

The Moulin Rouge! star also declined to discuss the breakup in detail, saying she wanted to respect both her former partner and their two daughters.

“I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be,” Kidman said. “My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”

Nicole Kidman’s New Romance Buzz After Keith Urban Split

Before Kidman was spotted with Reinstein, celebrity gossip outlet Deuxmoi claimed the actress was no longer single and was quietly dating a high-profile entertainment executive.

“We’re told the relationship has been quietly developing over the past few months, and the pair have been keeping things extremely low-key and largely out of the public eye,” the report alleged.

Earlier this year, TMZ also reported that Paul Salem, chairman of MGM Resorts International, had reportedly taken an interest in Kidman after the two met through mutual friends and attended several group gatherings together.

However, sources close to the actress dismissed the romance rumors. An insider told Page Six, “She’s not dating. She’s single and concentrating on her children.”

Kidman and Urban first met in January 2005 before marrying in June 2006. According to the report, their nearly two-decade marriage came to an end after Kidman filed for divorce in September 2025, with the divorce finalized in January 2026.
