THE Traitors’ first-ever Secret Traitor Fiona has revealed she feared she’d “lose my home” if she mistakenly let slip a huge show secret.
The red-cloaked contestant – who was banished from the BBC series at the Round Table eviction last week – laid bare her worries on Monday’s episode of This Morning.
The Welsh Government worker, 62, spoke candidly to hosts Ben Shephard, 51, and Cat Deeley, 49, about the epic feud with fellow Traitor Rachel which rocked the show to its core.
She joked how locking horns with her co-star, after she accused her of lying about a secret Rachel claimed Amanda had told her, was “spectacularly the wrong decision”.
Fiona added: “I’ve always done thing my way, that’s quite often the wrong way”.
Talking of the moment The Traitors host squeezed her shoulder to signal she was the Secret Traitor she said “all my endorphins just exploded”.

She continued: “It was just magnificent to be given that opportunity, I relished the power too much really.
“I was drunk on the power”.
This Morning anchor Ben then asked if she’d kept her deceitful identity on the BBC One show a secret and she said she had – because she feared losing her home.
Fiona said: “I told my husband and my son but they had no inkling about the red cloak,” to which Ben said: “Did they not?”

Fiona continued: “No because you sign an NDA [non disclosure agreement] and there was no way I was going to lose my home through blabbing.
“So I trusted no one!

It came after it was claimed Fiona dropped a huge hint as to her Secret Traitor identity on the show’s very first episode.
She told of her bathing suit – in a shade of red – which could have hinted at her new character’s cloak.
SECRET TRAITOR REVEAL
Fiona’s identity was then revealed to BBC viewers and her fellow traitors in an explosive scene last week.
The Secret Traitor inclusion was a brand new twist for the 2026 series.
Yet when Rachel and Stephen successfully managed to murder one of the cast in plain sight, her identity was revealed to the un-faithful players.
The local government officer had pulled the wool over everyone’s eyes – even orchestrating the murder shortlist each night.
Rachel was left speechless at the reveal and gasped: “Fiona!,” as Stephen cheekily told her: “You minx.”
Fiona replied: “I am!”
The show then shared a flashback to when host Claudia Winkleman picked Fiona as the Secret Traitor on the first day.
Fiona told the presenter: “I will do my best to be as treacherous as possible.”
