Patrick Clancy Reveals He Still Talks to His Three Children in First Interview Since Lindsay Clancy Mistrial
Patrick Clancy has spoken publicly for the first time since the closely watched trial of his former wife, Lindsay Clancy, ended without a verdict — revealing that more than three years after losing his three children, he still talks to them “all the time.”
In a preview of his upcoming interview, Patrick was asked what he says to Cora, Dawson and Callan when he speaks to them.
His answer was just two words: “Help me.”
Asked how often, Patrick replied: “All the time.”

Patrick’s interview comes less than two weeks after Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial ended in a mistrial.
Lindsay, now 36, admitted causing the deaths of the couple’s three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and eight-month-old Callan — at the family’s home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, in January 2023.
Her defense did not dispute that she was responsible. Instead, her attorneys argued that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time and should therefore not be held criminally responsible.
After more than 38 hours of deliberations spread across seven days, jurors informed Judge William Sullivan that they could not reach a unanimous verdict. The jury was split 11-1, resulting in the mistrial.

Throughout the trial, Patrick largely remained composed as painful details about his family were discussed in court.
When he took the witness stand, he described Lindsay as a loving mother before the tragedy, recalling how she would make up songs with the children and prepare special meals for them, including green eggs and ham.
But his new interview offers a far more personal glimpse into how he continues to live with the loss.
Patrick said he still speaks directly to his children. When asked what he tells them, his response — “Help me” — revealed how present Cora, Dawson and Callan remain in his life years after their deaths.
Patrick Says He Has Faced Threats and False Claims

Patrick, 38, has also faced another ordeal surrounding the high-profile case.
According to his attorney, Howard Cooper, Patrick and his family have been subjected to threats and an escalating misinformation campaign, including online claims attempting to connect him to the deaths of his children.
Cooper strongly rejected those allegations, describing them as false and saying some individuals appeared to be spreading them for attention and potential financial gain. He has also left open the possibility of legal action against people responsible for circulating the claims.
Patrick has since remarried and now lives in New York.
His full interview is scheduled to air on “60 Minutes” on Sunday, September 20.
But the brief preview has already revealed perhaps the most personal detail Patrick has shared publicly since the case began: years after losing all three of his children, he still talks to them — and when the grief becomes overwhelming, the same two words keep returning.
“Help me.”
