AMBER Alert Issued for Four Children Last Seen With Mother in Los Angeles
An AMBER Alert has been issued in Los Angeles for four children, ages 1 to 9, who were last seen leaving their Reseda home with their mother despite a court order prohibiting her from moving them while an investigation was ongoing.
The Los Angeles Police Department said Wednesday, September 30, that detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating 9-year-old Anas Mirova, 5-year-old Zuhal Mirzoda, 2-year-old Maryam Mirova and 1-year-old Rayana Mirova.
The children were last seen around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, September 26, near the 6600 block of Reseda Boulevard in Los Angeles. According to police, their biological mother, 31-year-old Mehrangez Sangalieva, was with them when they left the residence.
Court Order Prohibited the Children From Being Moved
Authorities said Sangalieva was subject to a court order that prohibited her from moving the children from their current address while an investigation was underway.
The California Highway Patrol activated the AMBER Alert on behalf of the LAPD as investigators worked to locate the children and their mother. Authorities believe Sangalieva may be traveling with them in a gray 2011 Toyota Prius bearing California license plate 6SWK678.
Police have released descriptions of the children and Sangalieva in hopes that members of the public may recognize them.
