Princess Charlotte’s blunt one-word response as Prince Louis reveals she criticised him

Princess Charlotte gave a blunt one-word response when her brother Prince Louis claimed she criticised his new gymnastics trick. Last week, the Prince and Princess of Wales took their three children to watch the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
It marked the first time Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight, had ever made a public appearance in Scotland. As well as watching some of the games take place, the three children and their parents also visited Wales House in the centre of Glasgow to speak to some people competing in the games. This included identical twin gymnasts Abigail and Emily Roper.

As the Princess of Wales asked the athletes about their own routines, she also revealed that her youngest son was perfecting the gymnastics trick of a handstand at the moment.
Princess Catherine, looking towards her youngest child, said: “Louis, you’re perfecting your handstand at the moment.”
Standing with his arms crossed, Louis replied: “A bit. But Charlotte says I’m not very good.”
Charlotte, who was standing next to her little brother when he revealed this, quickly replied: “Once.”
This suggests that the princess, who likes gymnastics herself, only criticised Louis on one occasion, and wanted to make that clear. Prince Louis was then encouraged by the twin gymnasts to keep practicing.
Charlotte then confirmed, when asked by the gymnasts, that she could do a handstand, while Prince George revealed that he was not good at anything requiring flexibility.
The conversation with the siblings was caught on video and shared online, with many noting just how “normal” the royal children really are despite their status.
One person wrote: “It’s very normal. It’s just siblings giving each other a hard time.”
Someone else said: “How cute, these siblings really are growing up into a nice human beings.”
