Meghan Markle ‘needs one thing’ to improve her popularity

Meghan Markle needs one thing to improve her popularity in the UK, a PR expert has said. The Duchess of Sussex, who turned 45 this week, may have recently visited the UK, but her popularity in her husband’s home country is still low.
This is believed to be because of her past criticisms of the Royal Family, royal life and the UK. This includes criticisms she made on the 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, and claims she made in the 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview. While Meghan has worked to try and improve her popularity over the years, this has so far been unsuccessful.
Now, a PR expert has said that Meghan needs a friend that will get her to “eat humble pie” and admit her faults.
It is believed this is what she would need to improve her popularity and return to Britain, if this is something on her and Prince Harry’s radar.
PR expert Mark Borkowski told Hello magazine: “Meghan needs a critical friend who will advise her to eat humble pie and look at a gradual return to Britain.
“She could be a powerful celebrity Duchess, but not a working royal, if she could find purpose and help Harry have a more dignified relationship with Britain.”

While Meghan did spend time in the UK last month with her husband Prince Harry, and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, she was not spotted publicly.
She was originally set to take part in some public engagements with Harry, however security concerns from the lack of armed police protection meant these plans changed.
Instead, Harry flew into Britain a few days before the rest of his family to carry out his public-facing appearances, before meeting his wife and children for private time away from the cameras.
This private time reportedly included a stay at Althorp Estate with Harry’s uncle Earl Charles Spencer, and even a royal reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove.
The family-of-four are also rumoured to have spent some time in Scotland on an island owned by a friend of Harry’s.
It is not known how many days in total they stayed in the UK before flying back to their home in Montecito, California.
