‘Magnificent’ period drama praised by fans as they issue same demand
The medieval drama which first aired on Channel 4 in 2011, has been praised by fans for its gritty storyline and stellar cast.
Over ten years ago, a 10-episode series gripped audiences with its raw narrative and exceptional ensemble.
Camelot, which debuted on Channel 4 in 2011, is a medieval drama drawing from Thomas Malory’s 15th-century work.
The story centres on King Arthur (portrayed by Jamie Campbell) and his battle to forge an improved realm. Yet complications arise at every turn.
Amongst these challenges is Arthur’s ruthlessly ambitious half-sister Morgan (Eva Green), who believes the throne rightfully belongs to her and employs sorcery and manipulation to bring about Arthur’s downfall.

Throughout the years, the series has garnered significant acclaim, with numerous viewers disappointed that only a single season was produced, reports the Express.
One viewer commented: “Have just watched the 3rd episode of Camelot, Camelot is a good show, it’s improving each week, it has a good cast, great set locations and some good fight scenes.”
Another viewer penned: “Awesome Show. An Awesome show but a complete bummer they cancelled season 2! Well worth the watch, it’s just unfortunate that it aired at the same time as Game of Thrones, otherwise it probably would have gotten a better rating.”
