SEASON 13 PREMIERE SHOCKER: THE FIRST BAKER ELIMINATED FROM ‘HOLIDAY BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP’ REVEALED!

1. A High-Stakes Kickoff in Santa’s Workshop
Entering Santa’s festive workshop, 12 talented bakers were officially split into two teams: the Elf Squad and the Reindeer Crew. For their very first Pre-Heat challenge, host Jesse Palmer tasked the contestants with creating a dessert that captured their favorite holiday memories. Thanks to Jean Andrew’s hot chocolate cream puff and Jessie’s standout pistachio chocolate cake, the Elf Squad secured a well-deserved victory, earning an exclusive advantage for the main round.

2. The Brutal Stained-Glass Cake Challenge and Critical Flaws

Moving into the Main Heat, the bakers were given just three hours to craft intricate Stained-Glass Cakes. Despite their pre-heat advantage, the Elf Squad stumbled, allowing the Reindeer Crew to snatch victory alongside a $1,000 prize for star baker Andy. Jean Andrew fell into grave danger after the judges called out her Cayenne Pecan Red Velvet Cake for having a non-transparent glass window and a sponge that lacked the signature cream cheese tang.
3. A Gracious Exit for the First Casualty of Season 13

Landed in the bottom two alongside teammate Jessie, Jean Andrew’s journey officially came to an end as host Jesse Palmer announced her elimination. Despite being the first baker sent home from Santa’s Village, Jean kept her head high and maintained a remarkably positive attitude. In her post-elimination confessional, she warmly expressed that it was an absolute honor to be selected for the show and that she truly enjoyed every moment on set.
