English rocker Yungblud has opened up about the emotional moment he broke down in tears on stage during his own BludFest music festival in Czechia.
The 28-year-old singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, became visibly overwhelmed during his performance, wiping away tears and, at one point, trembling as he told fans how much their support meant to him.

The musician shared the emotional performance on social media. In the video, Yungblud admitted he had been feeling “disconnected from everything.”
“I have been trying my best to wake up every day. I have felt in pain a lot and I don’t know why for a long time. But every time I find your faces, every time I find your eyes, every time I look at you, I know that I belong somewhere,” he told the crowd of thousands.
“To feel safe from the outside world is something that I can never thank you enough for. And all I want to say is that this is your family.”
The post was accompanied by a lengthy caption that began with the words, “Warning. Truth Incoming.”
Yungblud said he had debated whether to share the post at all, fearing it might come across as “disingenuous,” but ultimately decided to post it.
“Recently, I’ve been really struggling and this moment is a byproduct of my body releasing the wave of emotion that has hit me in the past year that I have been unable to process,” the singer explained.
He added that although he felt euphoric while performing on stage, just 20 minutes later, when he was alone in the shower, he experienced “a breakdown.”

Yungblud described the surreal nature of life as an artist, saying he has struggled to process both the highs and the lows because everything has happened so quickly.
“The amount of hate and disbelief around me from strangers on the internet or bitter musicians really weighs on my heart, as all I’ve been trying to do for the past 10 years is spread love, building something I believe in and unify people in a safe space,” he explained.
He went on to say that while staying silent might make him seem “cooler,” it would not be true to who he is.
Reflecting on his journey, Yungblud recalled performing in front of just 100 people at a venue in Amsterdam a decade ago before standing before a crowd of 20,000 at BludFest in Czechia on Sunday — a moment that left him deeply emotional.

Yungblud said he was overwhelmed with gratitude for his fans and simply could not hold back his emotions.
“I can’t hold it in. I can’t hold anything back. I can’t be ‘professional’. I can’t hide.”
He added that he is ready to put in the work on himself to process his emotions and “attain the strength” needed to keep up with the demands of his career.
Yungblud concluded his message with a heartfelt tribute to his fans, writing, “What an honour it is to spend this life with you.”
The past year has marked a major milestone in the singer’s career, with consecutive chart-topping albums, his first Grammy win, and sold-out arena shows from London to Australia.
