Call the Midwife star Ella Bruccoleri’s romantic drama struck a chord with audiences owing to its refreshing take on the Jane Austen tradition.

In the wake of its finale, devotees are on the hunt for their next televisual obsession, and another BBC production has just landed on a free streaming service.

The three-part romantic drama is adapted from Nancy Mitford’s 1945 novel of the same name and originally aired on BBC One in May 2021.
