Beverley Callard has bravely shared an update on her ongoing cancer battle, revealing the emotional toll and exhaustion she’s been facing. The I’m A Celebrity… South Africa star posted a heartfelt message to her fans, apologising for her absence on social media after being “totally wiped out” by a late night during the show’s live final.
In a raw Instagram video, Beverley confessed, “I’ve not posted for a couple of days… I’ve been totally wiped out! One late night, and I’m out of action for days,” explaining the exhausting effects of her condition. She described how her participation in the show’s after-party segment, Unpacked, left her drained for days, despite her best efforts to look her best. “I put on loads of makeup, stuck my eyelashes on… and then the internet went down halfway through,” she added with a sigh.

The Coronation Street legend explained how the physical toll of a single late night left her feeling utterly exhausted. “Does anyone else feel like that with one late night? Is that what cancer does to you sometimes? I don’t know.”
With her results expected on April 30th, Beverley shared her hopes for the next phase of her treatment. “I’m still waiting for my results, which I hope to get Thursday,” she said. “Thank you for all your messages.”
Beverley also revealed that the cancer had spread to one of her lymph nodes, adding another emotional hurdle in her fight for recovery. Despite the difficulties, her loyal fans have been quick to offer support. One fan shared, “Big hugs Beverley! Rest is recovery,” while another wrote, “Stay strong… Your body is fighting day and night for survival.”
This update comes after Beverley had to miss out on the chaotic I’m A Celebrity finale.
