Everyone began laughing when this young man began playing Chopsticks on the piano at a talent show, but soon everyone fell silent as he slowly demonstrated his true talent.

One person who watched the video comments, “Cannot even comprehend how someone can do that with their hands, or conceive of how to put all those themes together. I’m amazed,” one person commented after watching the video.

It’s always good to close out an event with a bang, but when the last act at one talent show took the stage, it seemed like the program was going to end with a fizzle – just a guy sitting behind the piano playing “Chopsticks,” a tune toddlers can bang out.

However, after a couple minutes, it was clear the man playing was way more talented than he was letting on. He wound up playing for over six minutes, mashing up “Chopsticks” with Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Liszt and even Jerry Lee Lewis.

His remarkable set got him a standing ovation and while the video cuts out before we find out the winner of the talent show, it’s hard to believe anyone could’ve beaten that.
