The Madison fans need to check out this equally stunning and life-affirming Western series that’s just been added to Netflix.

Taylor Sheridan’s hit family drama began last Saturday (14th March) with the first three episodes of season one revealing a devastating tragedy for the Clyburn family.

When proud mother and grandmother Stacy Clyburn (played by Michelle Pfeiffer) is forced to move her New York family to rural Montana, they struggle to acclimatise to their new environment despite the stunning surroundings and friendly neighbours.

The final three episodes of the season have now been released on Paramount+, and fans can anticipate a second outing arriving soon as the follow-up already concluded filming late last year.

In the meantime, fans of the inspirational saga will be on the lookout for similar shows to fill the gap, and Netflix has just the ticket.

Over 100 episodes of the long-running Canadian series Heartland are available, based on the series of bestselling novels by Lauren Brooke. Season 19 has just been added this week.

The hit drama follows sisters Amy (played by Amber Marshall) and Lou Fleming (Michelle Morgan), who live on a horse and cattle ranch in Alberta, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

Their tight-knit family also includes their widowed grandfather, Jack Bartlett (Shaun Johnston), their previously estranged father Tim Fleming (Chris Potter), and hired ranch hand Ty Borden (Graham Wardle).

While Netflix UK unfortunately doesn’t have the first six seasons available, fans say you can jump in at any point, with seasons 8-10 often considered a golden age for the show.

Heartland has been a hit with viewers worldwide for almost two decades and is well worth a watch for fans looking for a dose of Western magic after devouring every season of Yellowstone and the first six episodes of The Madison.
