A DAD arrested over the alleged killing of his nine-year-old daughter has now been charged in connection with her death.
The tragic schoolgirl was found fatally injured during a family ‘camping’ trip in Arbroath’s Elliot Industrial Estate around midnight on Monday.

The youngster was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee alongside three other patients but doctors were unable to save her.
Her dad, 35, has since been arrested and charged in connection with the “suspicious” death.
He is due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court today.
We told previously how the family, of West Yorkshire, had pitched a tent in the industrial estate less than a mile away from the seafront alongside another child.
Witnesses told how they were seen cooking on an outdoor stove by the roadside just hours before the girl was found fatally injured.
Passing motorists told of their surprise at seeing the makeshift camp on the edge of an oil firm’s car park, a short distance from the beach, on Sunday evening.
The youngster was found a short time later dying from injuries.
Emergency services flooded the scene after the initial alarm was raised at 11.53pm on Sunday.
Four ambulance response vehicles were deployed to help.
The tragic schoolgirl was rushed to hospital alongside three others who were taken as a precaution and have all now been discharged.
Her dad, 35, was taken to the same hospital separately but was later released into police custody.
Police cordoned off the scene on Monday at Elliot Industrial Estate, close to the Halliburton manufacturing firm.

Forensics officers were seen looking inside the car while an incident tent is believed to have been covering the family’s shelter.
Cops say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the young girl’s death.
The other members of the family, who were camping in the area, are being supported by specialist officers.
A police presence will remain in the area as the extensive investigation continues.
Detective Inspector Mike Ness of the Major Investigation Team said: “Our thoughts remain with those affected by these events.
“A police presence will remain in the area while our enquiries continue.
“Anyone with any concerns, or information, should approach these officers or contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0008 of Monday, 3 August 2026.”
