The Duchess of Sussex shared a video on Instagram on Sunday, September 13, showing Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet enjoying a series of relaxed outdoor moments. The 35-second reel marks the first public family video since the couple returned to Britain with their children.

Among the footage, Meghan and Harry are seen walking hand in hand, with Meghan turning toward the camera and waving.

The post was decorated with Union Jack and red heart emojis, adding a distinctly British touch to the family’s first public glimpse of their new chapter in the country.

Archie and Lilibet embrace country life

The children feature prominently throughout the video.

A return to a place tied to Princess Diana

The footage appears to include the Sussex family’s second visit this year to Althorp, the Northamptonshire estate where Princess Diana grew up.

Earlier this summer, Meghan shared photographs from a family visit that appeared to show Harry, Archie and Lilibet walking through the grounds of Althorp. The images prompted speculation that the family may have visited Diana’s burial site, which is located on an island in the Oval Lake on the Spencer family estate.

In July, one photograph showed Harry and the children walking down a tree-lined path at Althorp, with Harry and Archie apparently carrying bouquets. However, the family did not publicly confirm that the visit included Diana’s grave.

The latest video therefore provides another glimpse of the family spending time at a location closely connected to Harry’s late mother.

The Sussexes’ new life in Britain

The family’s appearance comes just weeks after Harry and Meghan returned to the UK with Archie and Lilibet following six years in California.

The Sussexes arrived in Britain on August 26 for what was described as an extended stay, with the children enrolled at schools in the UK.

Their return, however, does not represent a return to royal duties.

King Charles has made clear that Harry and Meghan remain private, non-working members of the Royal Family. Official guidance has stated that their charitable activities are undertaken in a personal capacity and that their position in the UK remains akin to that of private citizens with commercial and charitable interests.

The couple stepped down from carrying out official royal duties in January 2020 and subsequently moved to the United States.

Their decision to establish themselves in Britain again has nevertheless attracted considerable attention, particularly as Archie and Lilibet begin their lives in British schools.

Until now, the Sussexes had largely kept their family life out of public view following their return.

Harry was seen publicly in London shortly before Meghan offered this latest glimpse of their family life, while reports have continued to focus on how the couple are settling into their new surroundings.
