Lindsay Clancy Smiles in Court as Judge Delays Decision on Bid to Dismiss Murder Charges
Lindsay Clancy returned to a Massachusetts courtroom Tuesday as her attorneys urged a judge to throw out the murder charges against her in the deaths of her three children — but she will have to wait at least another month to learn whether that effort succeeds.
Clancy was seen smiling after Judge William Sullivan announced that he would not immediately rule on defense attorney Kevin Reddington’s motion seeking dismissal of the charges.
The hearing comes after Clancy’s first trial ended in a mistrial on Sept. 4, leaving open the possibility that she could face another trial.
Defense challenges the prosecution’s case
🚨 OH. MY. GOD.
I cannot believe Reddington just did this.
“WHERE’S THE EVIDENCE SHE KILLED HER KIDS?” He says there is NO evidence — and that there was NO investigation. They just took other people’s word for it that Lindsay killed her kids
For weeks, some Lindsay Clancy supporters — including TikTok creators and online conspiracy theorists — were turning on him after he shut down the Patrick theories and started calling him “bought.”
NOW he gets up on Rule 25 and starts talking about Patrick’s statements, the temperature, what Lindsay knew when she woke up, and the fact that ‘she was told’she did it, and the “lack” of DNA evidence came back. He talked about most of the narrative that the wine moms on TikTok say.
This has already IGNITED that crowd again.
He knows it. This is an absolute circus.
Just watch. 🤯

During Tuesday’s hearing, Reddington strongly challenged the evidence against his client, at one point arguing there was a “total and complete lack of evidence” supporting the charges.
Clancy is accused in connection with the January 2023 deaths of her three children at the family’s home in Duxbury, Massachusetts.
Her defense has centered on her mental state at the time. Reddington has argued that Clancy was suffering from postpartum psychosis and therefore should not be held criminally responsible for the children’s deaths.
Clancy also attempted to take her own life following the incident and was subsequently left using a wheelchair.
During her first trial, witnesses who interacted with Clancy while she was hospitalized at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston testified about statements she allegedly made concerning what happened.
According to their testimony, Clancy said she had heard a “male voice” instructing her to kill her children and that she followed that command.
Dispute over juror continues after mistrial
Lindsay Clancy
We must ask ourselves this.
Why the 180 by Reddington as to who killed the kids?
You stipulated that she murdered the kids. And now you are contending there is no evidence she murdered Cora, Dawson, and Callan?
I thought you said she was crazy, flipped out, and decided to to torture them to death 1 by 1 with exercise bands?
Now no evidence she murdered them?
Who did then?
Of course the intimation is Patrick.
@PhilipCDube pointed out that he believes Reddington changed course because his client doesn’t want to go to a mental institution for any length of time, so therefore, she might try to get off by blaming Patrick and that’s why Reddington flipped the script.
I say, Reddington has been watching X and TikTok and thinks if social media folks believe Patrick did it, maybe a jury will.
Probably a combination.
P.S. Look at the arms on Lindsay. Impressive. (56 sec, clip 2)

Tuesday’s proceedings also returned to another contentious issue from the first trial: the lone juror who favored convicting Clancy of murder.
Reddington denied that his actions had contributed to what was described as the juror’s subsequent “persecution.”
During jury deliberations, the defense attorney had sharply criticized the juror in court. Following the mistrial, he also filed a motion requesting an investigation into the juror.
Reddington argued Tuesday that his actions were responses to comments and circumstances surrounding the case rather than an attempt to target the juror.
The attorney also referenced President Donald Trump and South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace while discussing public reaction to the case. Following the mistrial, Reddington had previously suggested that Trump consider pardoning Clancy.
Judge holds off on decision
🚨 HOLY CRAP HE’S LOST IT. Lindsay Clancy defense attorney Kevin Reddington just went berserk on the prosecution calling him out for ATTACKING lone holdout juror Michael Desronvil
REDDINGTON: “I am TIRED of hearing ‘persecution,’ ‘attacking.’ I am doing all these ‘terrible things’ to this juror. I filed one motion and said nothing. Every comment I made was in reaction to Donald Trump down to Nancy Mace, Cruz, calling for her execution. I have responded to these outlandish comments!”
TRUTH HURTS, CROOK!
He KNOWS he helped dox the juror by revealing the gender of the holdout juror during the trial when most of them were female
Now he can’t take the heat.
Disbar him!

For now, the central question remains whether Clancy will face another trial or whether the defense can persuade the court to dismiss the charges.
Judge Sullivan did not decide the dismissal motion during Tuesday’s hearing, instead indicating that a ruling would not come for at least another month.
That leaves Clancy’s legal future unresolved as both sides wait for a decision that could determine whether the high-profile Massachusetts case returns to a courtroom for a second trial.
