Meghan Markle’s Anticipated Public Return ‘Revealed’: Royal Expert Predicts Glamorous Red Carpet Comeback

Having maintained a remarkably low profile since relocating back to the United Kingdom with Prince Harry in late August, Meghan Markle has yet to make an official public appearance on British soil. The 45-year-old Duchess of Sussex is currently understood to be residing in the Cotswolds, focusing alongside Harry on settling Prince Archie (7) and Princess Lilibet (5) into their new countryside schooling.

While Prince Harry has stepped directly back into the public eye—championing veteran causes and preparing for the United for Freedom Ukrainian charitable initiative—Meghan has deliberately remained out of the spotlight. However, speaking exclusively to the Daily Express, veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams noted that her public comeback is likely only weeks away:

“Meghan is known not to be a shrinking violet. She is notorious for her ruthless positivity and her fondness for glamorous appearances.”

Fitzwilliams suggested that her first public foray could arrive in spectacular fashion via the red carpet premiere of Close Personal Friends, a feature film in which Meghan filmed a cameo playing herself last year. The project, currently in post-production, boasts an A-list ensemble featuring Jack Quaid, Oscar-winner Brie Larson, Henry Golding, and Lily Collins.

Reflecting on working with the Duchess, co-star Jack Quaid previously told ET:

“Yeah — no, it was insane. The main cast of it is myself, Brie Larson, Henry Golding and Lily Collins, which is just an incredible group of people to be a part of. And every day, we went to set, and we just tried our best to make each other laugh.”
