Former Fox Business Producer Jennifer Eckhart Found Dead at 36 in Florida Home
Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox Business associate producer who later built a podcast around stories of resilience and rebuilding, has died at the age of 36.
Authorities said Eckhart was found dead Friday at her home in Martin County, Florida. A spokesperson for the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said her death appeared to be a suicide, though officials did not release further details about the circumstances.
A Career That Moved From Television to Podcasting
Eckhart previously worked as an associate producer at Fox Business before moving into independent media and podcasting.
She hosted “REINVENTED,” a show centered on conversations with figures from business, entertainment and sports who had faced significant setbacks and worked to rebuild their lives and careers.
According to her website, the podcast focused on overcoming adversity and starting again. Its most recent episode was posted in March and featured former Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg.
Her 2020 Allegations Drew National Attention
Eckhart became the subject of national attention in 2020 when she accused journalist Ed Henry of sexual assault.
Henry was fired by Fox News that same year after the network investigated a complaint involving alleged sexual misconduct.
The allegations became one of the most widely reported chapters of Eckhart’s public life, years before she shifted much of her attention toward her podcast.
Legal Trouble the Year Before Her Death

Eckhart had also faced a separate legal issue in Florida in July 2025.
She was arrested in Palm Beach County on suspicion of battery following an alleged confrontation with her boyfriend, Thomas Beasley, as he attempted to end their relationship.
According to an arrest affidavit cited in reports, video from the alleged incident showed Eckhart yelling at Beasley, striking him, grabbing and tearing his shirt and demanding that he delete the recording.
She was later released on her own recognizance without being required to post bail.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has not publicly provided additional information about what happened inside Eckhart’s home before she was found.
Her death comes only months after the latest episode of “REINVENTED” — a project whose central theme was how people confronted difficult periods in their lives and attempted to move forward.
