After years of public fallout, could Prince Harry finally be ready to say the one thing his brother may have been waiting to hear?

The Duke of Sussex’s relationship with Prince William has deteriorated dramatically over the past six years, with the brothers’ private grievances becoming increasingly public through interviews, accusations and Harry’s memoir, Spare. What was once a close sibling relationship has become one of the Royal Family’s most painful divisions.

But if Harry now decides that enough time has passed, rebuilding that relationship could require something neither side has heard much of during the dispute: an apology.

And if that happens, Meghan Markle could find herself facing an uncomfortable new dynamic.
