King Charles has extended love and sweet wishes to his sister Princess Anne on her 76th birthday.

The Palace, on behalf of King Charles, shared a lovely photo of Princess Anne saying, “Wishing a Happy Birthday to The Princess Royal!”

King Charles wishes for Anne came amid reports she is celebrating her 76th birthday, but the Princess Royal will not be expecting balloons, cake and fanfare from the Royal Family, at her own request.

The Mirror reported as Princess Anne marks her 76th birthday, she seemingly won’t be expecting balloons, cake or fanfare from the Royal Family.

It is believed that’s entirely by her own choice, therefore, her 76th is expected to be a decidedly low-key affair, with absolutely “no-frills” from the Firm.

Anne reportedly reserves grand celebrations solely for milestone birthdays.

Royal expert Roya Nikkhah has revealed that Anne’s next landmark birthday will be her 80th in 2030 and, she plans to begin “winding down” her royal duties following that milestone.

Citing the royal insiders, the expert had claimed last year on Anne’s 75th birthday, “I was told that she’s told her team: ‘I’m going to start winding down a little bit at 80, in five years’ time, and then I want to step back completely at 90′.”
