Frankie Grande has nothing but love for his sister, Ariana Grande.
The Titanique star praised his sister while celebrating the last show of the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine tour in Chicago on Thursday.
“Family forever,” Frankie wrote on Instagram on Friday. “I will have your back until the end of time. I am so proud of you and so happy for you.”
His caption continued, “Last night was a beautiful celebration of your artistry and the magnificent eternal sunshine family you have built and created. It was a magical night. You are magical.”
Frankie ended his remarks with references to his sister’s songs “My Everything” and “One Last Time.” “You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time.”
Frankie’s comments come in the wake of his sister announcing an unforeseen break from the public eye earlier this week. A representative for the “Into You” singer told PEOPLE that she would “step back from visibility” after concluding the Eternal Sunshine tour in London on Sept. 1.

Ariana spoke about her forthcoming hiatus at an earlier Chicago concert the day after her representative released the statement. “My fans were worried that negativity was ruining things for me. But, I just have to say, that could not be more the f— opposite,” she said on Monday. “Yes, boundaries, they need to be set. Human beings can need a break sometimes.”
She added, “This can be and will continue to be the greatest experience of my professional and creative life,” in reference to the Eternal Sunshine tour.

The singer’s hiatus means that she will no longer act in the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George. The production, which will star her Wicked castmate Jonathan Bailey, was set to open at London’s Barbican Centre next summer.
Ariana previously dropped out of the 13th season of American Horror Story due to scheduling conflicts a few weeks before her break was announced in July.
Ariana’s hiatus comes after widespread public scrutiny about the “Dangerous Woman” singer’s personal life and body, as fans shared concern about the musician during Wicked: For Good‘s November release and the rollout for her new album Petal. Fans grew especially vocal after Grande released the music video for “Petal” on July 31.

The musician has slammed unsolicited commentary about her body, noting that she felt like a “specimen in a petri dish” in a 2024 interview with the Oui Oui Baguette podcast
“I’ve heard every version of what’s wrong with me, and you fix it and then it’s wrong for different reasons,” she said. “When you’re young and you’re hearing all kinds of things, it’s hard to protect yourself from that noise.”

Statements from sources close to Ariana have emphasized the singer’s health in recent days. “She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” her representative told PEOPLE as the hiatus was announced.
A source close to the singer told the outlet, “She performs a very physical show, and there is a lot of athleticism involved. She performs healthily and successfully at a very high level night after night.”
Ariana is set to appear in Focker In-Law opposite Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. The film, which marks her first screen role since the Wicked movies, will hit theaters on Nov. 25.
