To quote Justin Bieber‘s own lyric, he’s “confident.”

The SWAG singer, 32, went head-to-head with the greatest athletes in their sport, including tennis star Novak Djokovic, in a series of athletic challenges — known as the Fanatics Games — at this year’s Fanatics Fest, the four-day fan event held annually in New York City.

Along with facing off against the likes of Tom Brady and Karl-Anthony Towns, Bieber also challenged Djokovic, 39, to a bonus game of ping pong — and couldn’t help but brag about his skill.

“I am a superior ping pong player, he knows it,” a confident Bieber tells the camera in a clip from Fanatics Fest: All Access, an hour-long special from ESPN and Fanatics Studios, streaming now on ESPN, before taking on the Serbian tennis star.

“I must say, I underestimated Justin’s athletic abilities,” Djokovic admits — though he goes on to beat the musician in their ping pong battle.

“He got me today, so I gotta give him his flowers,” said the “Daisies” singer.

Despite the table tennis takedown, Bieber came out on top of the Fanatics Games, winning the entire competition — yes, that means beating the likes of Djokovic, Tom Brady, Karl-Anthony Towns, Victor Wembanyama, Livvy Dunne, Jordan Chiles, Rob Gronkowski and more star athletes.

Bieber, who made a surprise appearance at Fanatics Fest the day before he performed at the 2026 FIFA World Cup halftime show — was paired against Brady and Djokovic throughout the challenges, only to then dominate the event and take home the $1 million first prize.

Then, the two-time Grammy winner donated his earnings, giving $500,000 across the 50 fan competitors in the competition ($10K each) and the remaining $500,000 to charity.

Bieber’s faceoff against 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic, whose stat ties the all-time record for the most major singles titles in tennis history, is featured in the special.

“Only at Fanatics Fest do people come together in this way,” Bieber said in the trailer for Fanatics Fest: All Access.

Fanatics CEO and founder Michael Rubin told PEOPLE ahead of the event’s return that fans are at the forefront of the experience above all.

“Everything’s got to be about the fans,” he told PEOPLE exclusively. “It’s the biggest fan give back we do. It’s the hardest thing we do each year. We plan for it from the second it ends until the next one. How do we raise the bar? How do we keep making it better? This year, there are so many ways.”

He said, “Absolutely spectacular.”
