CHAPTER 1: THE ACCIDENTAL REVELATION
For months, I had been dating twins—and they thought I had no idea.
They took turns coming over, swapping places seamlessly, keeping me spinning like a top. To an average person, their voices, faces, and subtle habits were indistinguishable.
Except I am not an average person. Above everyone’s head, I can see floating, glowing labels.
Over Julian’s head floated a fluorescent label: “Elder Twin”. Over Adrian’s head floated a fluorescent label: “Younger Twin”.
Julian was assertive, dominant, and liked to take control. Adrian was softer, clung to me like a stray puppy, and loved to act spoiled. Today, the one sitting across from me at the restaurant was Adrian.
Suddenly, Adrian pushed a dish toward me with a casual smirk. “Sis, don’t tell me you forgot I’m allergic to seafood?”
My expression remained utterly composed as I cut my steak. “Isn’t the one allergic to seafood your older brother?”
Silence descended upon our table. The handsome young man sat frozen, his bright hazel eyes wide with shock.
I sighed softly, tapping my cheek with a faux-clumsy gesture. “Did you two fail to negotiate who was supposed to come today?”
Adrian’s playful smile dissolved instantly. “You… you knew there were two of us?”
“You look identical, but I have my ways,” I replied smoothly. Knowing he looked utterly crushed, I patted his cheek affectionately and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. “Alright, don’t look like the sky is falling. Go home, discuss it properly with Julian, and figure out who gets tomorrow’s date.”
Why settle for one when I could have two?
As I walked back to my apartment complex, I passed a sausage stand run by a handsome college boy. When I flirted with him, asking if he had a girlfriend, he grinned back: “Sis, aren’t two boyfriends enough for you?”
Ah. Word travels fast. I just chuckled and walked upstairs.
Standing right beneath the dim streetlamp outside my apartment building was Julian, his floating label glowing softly in the dark.
The moment I stepped close, Julian grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a fierce, breathless kiss.
“Have you two figured out how to talk to me yet?” I teased against his lips, my black silk dress shivering in the night wind. “Julian, did you really think you could play me for a fool forever?”
Julian said nothing. He simply unbuttoned his blazer, draped it over my bare shoulders, and guided me up to my flat.
CHAPTER 2: THE CONFRONTATION
Inside my dimly lit apartment, Julian pinned me gently against the soft lavender sheets. He wore a crisp black shirt, his dark eyes burning with possessive heat.
“I know we were wrong,” Julian whispered against my ear, his hand wrapping around my waist. “It was both our faults—though mostly Adrian’s idea. But Wenlok… I still love you. If you’re angry, tomorrow we can buy an apartment and put it under your name alone. Just don’t break up with us.”
I smiled into the dark. I loved this assertive side of him.
While Julian was in the bathroom, I relaxed on the bed and checked my phone. My inbox was overflowing with frantic messages from Adrian.
Adrian: 【Sis, I’m sorry! We shouldn’t have tricked you! We just both loved you too much!】 Adrian: 【Did Julian go to your place?! He’s so shameless!】 Adrian: 【Sis… can’t you just love both of us? Everything he can do, I can do too. Please look at me…】
When Julian walked out of the bathroom, steam clung to his defined six-pack abs, a towel wrapped loosely around his waist. He slid onto the bed and pulled me back into his arms, kissing me deeply.
“Wenlok,” Julian murmured, his breath warm against my neck. “Regardless of when you found out… you still let me into your bed tonight. Does that mean you like me a little more than Adrian?”
I chuckled softly, remembering how this all started.
Originally, my target wasn’t Julian—it was the sweet, needy younger brother, Adrian. I had met Adrian months ago at a birthday gala, where he sat casually in silk pajamas playing with an old radio, looking entirely out of place yet mesmerizingly handsome. When I asked for his contact back then, his ears had turned bright red as he timidly saved my contact under “Kissing Sister.”
Yet somehow, Julian had swooped in later, and the two brothers started secretly swapping places to share my attention.
“Listen to me,” Julian whispered possessively before pulling me under the covers. “Blame Adrian all you want, but don’t be mad at me…”
CHAPTER 3: THE DOUBLE PROPOSAL
I woke up late the next morning to a quiet apartment and a sweet text from Julian:
Julian: 【There’s warm soup in the kitchen for you. I have morning lectures, but I’ll see you tonight.】
I stretched my sore muscles, only to hear my doorbell ring softly.
I wrapped myself in a silk robe and opened the door. Standing there was Adrian, holding a giant bouquet of red roses and a bag of fresh breakfast pastries. His hazel eyes looked puppy-dog soft, brimming with anxiety.
“Sis…” Adrian whimpered softly, stepping inside and pulling me into a tight, desperate hug. “Julian left, right? I missed you so much. Don’t throw me away, please…”
“Adrian, you two tricked me for months,” I said, pretending to sit down sternly on the sofa. “How do you expect me to handle having two boyfriends?”
Adrian immediately knelt on the carpet before me, resting his chin on my knees, looking up with complete adoration.
“You don’t have to choose,” Adrian urged earnestly. “We already talked last night after Julian left your place! We agreed! As long as you don’t leave us, we’ll share everything. Julian can take Monday, Wednesday, Friday—I’ll take Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and we can alternate Sundays!”
I burst out laughing at his ridiculous schedule. “Are you two treating me like a shared business contract?”
Before Adrian could answer, the front door unlocked again. Julian walked in carrying a velvet ring box, freezing in his tracks when he saw his younger brother kneeling at my feet.
“Adrian? What are you doing here so early?” Julian frowned, stepping forward.
“Making sure you don’t monopolize her!” Adrian snapped back, standing up to face his twin.
Julian rolled his eyes, walked straight over to me, and opened the velvet box to reveal a stunning diamond ring. “Wenlok, I meant what I said last night. Let’s get married. I don’t care if this idiot stays around as a permanent house guest, as long as you’re officially mine.”
Adrian gasped in outrage, pulling another velvet box out of his own pocket. “Hey! I bought a ring too! Sis, marry me instead! I’m way sweeter than him!”
I looked at the two identical, strikingly handsome men standing in my living room—the glowing labels “Elder Twin” and “Younger Twin” floating above their heads—both staring at me with utter devotion, waiting anxiously for my answer.
I reached out, took both ring boxes from their hands, and slid one ring onto each of my hands.
“Why make it complicated?” I smiled, leaning back against the sofa with absolute poise. “You both dug this hole. Now you both get to stay in it.”
The twins looked at each other, then back at me, before synchronous, breathtaking smiles broke across their identical faces.
