Prince Harry has made a surprise appearance on Joe Marlerās podcast, making a candid and hilarious admission about his hair loss. TheĀ Duke of SussexĀ is believed to have filmed the episode of Joe Marler Will See You Now during his five-day visit to the UK last week.
The episode aired on Monday, asĀ Harry showed a rarely-seen, relaxed side of himself, laughing along with the podcast host while discussing his āfavourite trashyā TV show, his grooming routine, and recalling his favourite television jingles.
As the podcast began, Joe asked Harry a series of āintake questionsā, including his full name, occupation, and who the most famous person in his contacts is.
During the initial questions, the former rugby union player asks Harry what is involved in his grooming routine, to which the Duke responds with an X-rated quip.
Harry said: āWell itās s**t, shower, shave obviously.ā He then added: āI also trim my beard every five or six days,ā before making Joe Marler swoon with a compliment over his own impressive facial hair.
The Duke then gestured to his head and said: āThereās nothing really happening on top. I get a haircut, but other than that, I try to not really look at whatās happening up there.ā
The mention of his hair loss is the second time he has mentioned his balding locks during his UK trip, as he gave a speech at aĀ major Invictus Games event in BirminghamĀ on Friday, referencing his hair loss since the Games first started in 2014.
Harry said to the crowd: āWhat has struck me walking around the arena today is just how many faces I recognise from those different groups that were part of that original journey back in 2014. Some of us have lost our hair.ā
The Duke made another reference to his hair during his chat on Joe Marlerās podcast, as heĀ joked about being bullied as a child over his hair colour.
Joe questioned Harry as he asked what is one thing people get wrong about him, as he quipped, while maintaining a straight face, that people say that he is ginger when in fact his hair is more of a āsunset auburnā colour.
As the crew erupted into laughter, Harry sarcastically said: āI donāt know why thatās funny. Unless you want to call me āgingeā. I got bullied a lot at school, I was called a carrot top.ā

Joe struggled to contain his laughter, as Harry broke his straight face, saying: āIām going to need therapy after this I think.ā
In a matter of hours, the podcast racked up thousands of views from royal fans who were enamoured with the rare glimpse at Harry in such a relaxed, comedic setting, with one person writing: āThe level of Harryās banter is hilarious.ā
Another fan added: āHarry has such a great, dry sense of humour. He is so quick-witted and cheeky. The sunset auburn prince!ā
