Death in Paradise has been hailed as one of the best crime drama shows on TV over the years.
For more than ten years, Death in Paradise has captivated audiences worldwide.
The BBC drama launched in 2011, with Ben Miller portraying the first Detective Inspector, Richard Poole.
Since its debut, numerous actors have tackled criminal investigations on the fictitious island of Saint Marie, including Kris Marshall, Ardal O’Hanlon, Ralf Little and most recently Don Gilet.
Presently, production is underway for series 16, with the BBC programme teasing glimpses of the returning ensemble on social media.
While the series concluded earlier this year with plenty of unexpected developments, the programme makes its way back to television screens on Tuesday evening (July 14).
Yet there’s disappointing news for devotees, as the episode is a rerun from series 11, which initially broadcast in 2022.

The hour-long episode will feature Ralf Little reprising his role as DI Neville Parker, accompanied by Don Warrington, Shantol Jackson, Tahj Miles and Ginny Holder, reports the Express.
A synopsis for the classic episode states: “When a woman reports a murder and is then found strangled, the team is left wondering whether she was reporting her own murder.. Brilliant-though-slightly neurotic detective Neville Parker attempts to lead this perplexing case.”
Throughout its run, the programme has garnered widespread acclaim from viewers, with many hailing the series as amongst the finest dramas they’ve witnessed.

One viewer remarked: “Just binged Season 1 – 15 and still loving it even more. My opinion of Don Gilet as the new Inspector? Incredible job. At times, I was sobbing along with him and gave that particular episode an immediate 10. At times, his presence actually outshines the whole show.
Another shared: “The show, scenery, characters, and storylines are fantastic! Commissioner Patterson is my favourite character (who’s yours? ). He keeps me in stitches. Anyway, it’s one of the best shows I’ve seen on television ever.”
