Bridgerton fans are used to seeing actress Claudia Jessie take on the role of sharp-witted Eloise Bridgerton in the hit Netflix period drama.

However, before making her debut on the Ton, the 36-year-old appeared in another period drama that fans have been left calling ‘perfect’.

Claudia stars as Amelia Sedley in ITV’s Vanity Fair, an adaptation of the classic 1847 novel, which aired back in 2018.

The seven-part miniseries follows Becky Sharp, played by House of the Dragon’s Olivia Cooke, and her best friend Amelia against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars.

It features the duo trying to navigate their way out of poverty to scale the heights of early 19th-century British society.

It was produced by Mammoth Screen, in partnership with Amazon Studios, who are the same team behind the likes of Poldark and Victoria.

Also starring in the cast include the likes of Johnny Flynn, Tom Bateman, Ellie Kendrick, Martin Clunes and Charlie Rowe

Since the show was released, people have highly praised the period drama and have compared it to the likes of Downton Abbey, Bridgerton and The Hardacres.
