An Irish teenager received a standing ovation from all four Britain’s Got Talent judges after an incredible audition for the talent show.

Leah Barniville from Ratoath in Co Meath wowed the crowd and judges with her impressive vocal performance of Carusa by Lucio Dalla.

The 14-year-old was given high praise by the show’s toughest judge, Simon Cowell, who described her classical audition as ‘incredible’.

Speaking to Leah after her performance, the music mogul gushed: ‘I thought that was honestly incredible and you’re 14 years old. You don’t know how good you are.’

Alesha Dixon said: ‘You’re stage presence was just fantastic. Controlled and beautiful, loved it.’

Amanda Holden added: ‘It’s such a complicated song and your Italian was impeccable. It was a flawless audition.’ When voting, Simon excitedly said: ‘A billion percent yes.’

After receiving four yeses, the delighted Irish teenager joined her family backstage. Leah will now progress to the live shows, where she’ll likely pull out another showstopping number.
