The Britain’s Got Talent judges could hardly believe their eyes as a tiny boy in a leather jacket walked onstage with nothing but a guitar and a quiet smile. Then the unmistakable opening of Chuck Berry’s “Johnny Be Good” filled the theater—and suddenly, it felt like the King of Rock ’n’ Roll himself had come back to life

A 10-year-old guitarist wowed the judges on Britain’s Got Talent with Chuck Berry’s classic Johnny Be Good.

In an unseen clip from the ITV talent show, we meet little rock star, Joseph Sheppard who had the crowd eating out the palm of his hand.

Before his audition, Simon Cowell complimented his hair while Amanda Holden commented on his ‘great style’.

Donning a leather jacket and his guitar Joseph asked the audience: ‘Are you ready to rock Manchester?’

And it’s safe to say no one expected him to perform the way he did.

Joseph got fantastic feedback from the judges after his audition as Simon said: ‘Let’s go to the rock expert on the panel, David.’

‘You are so cool, such a little dude and you’re very very skilled I mean that is not easy to sing and play the guitar like that,’ David Walliams commented.

‘I think you’re going to be a huge star well done.’

Alesha Dixon added: ‘I was so impressed, your stage performance was fantastic, the way you owned it in front of all these people.’

While Amanda continued: ‘You are the complete package here, that was a brill audition.’

And of course, Simon Cowell had the last word as he said: ‘Very good Joseph that was a great audition, going forward in five years time where do you see yourself?’

Joseph simply replied: ‘Hopefully quite famous.’

Other acts that wowed the judges on Saturday night’s instalment were 96-year-old Nora and a group of dancing turtles.

And not forgetting Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer act, which was Honey and Sammy, a mother a daughter act from Essex.

Britain’s Got Talent returns on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
