The rugby player from Litchfield, Staffordshire went to the auditions with his friends for support and quickly won over the audience and even Simon Cowell.

Audition

Shaun’s audition consisted of him singing Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine”. All three judges voted “yes”, sending them to the next round.

Shaun’s audition was deemed strong enough to become a semifinalist on a unanimous verdict.

Semifinals

Shaun’s semifinals performance consisted of him singing U2’s “With or Without You”. He managed to receive enough votes to place in the Top 3 in the voting, and was eligible for the Judges’ Choice alongside Callum Francis. Although Fresh voted against him, Chip and Nerdy voted for him, making him a finalist.

Finals

Shaun’s final performance consisted of him singing a reprise of “Ain’t No Sunshine”. He finished in 9th place in the voting.
