Actress looks unrecognisable during rare public outing with her husband after decades away from the spotlight. Fans were stunned as the beloved star stepped out for a quiet stroll, showing a completely different look from her Hollywood heyday. The couple, who have shared a remarkable 41-year love story, appeared relaxed and deeply connected during the low-key moment. Their enduring relationship has long been admired, making this rare appearance even more meaningful for longtime followers. Social media quickly filled with reactions as many struggled to recognize the once-famous actress. It’s a rare glimpse into a private life built on love, loyalty, and decades together.

She was once America’s most recognizable teen – but these days Maureen McCormick is keeping a low profile, exclusive Daily Mail photos show.

The Brady Bunch star, 69, went incognito as she stepped out for a power walk in her Los Angeles neighborhood with her husband of 41 years, Michael Cummings.

In an attempt to shield herself from the California sun – and maybe curious fans – the actress covered up in a full face mask, cap, and sunglasses, as the two strolled through their neighborhood on March 26.

But despite trying to fly under the radar, there was no effort to hide the affection between the couple, who were snapped holding hands just days after celebrating their wedding anniversary on March 16.

At one point, the pair paused mid-walk after bumping into a female friend who appeared to be selling eyeglasses on the street, photos show.

McCormick and Cummings stopped briefly to look at the items and chatted with her, but ultimately left empty-handed.

McCormick, who found fame as eldest daughter Marcia Brady in the classic 1970s sitcom, has long been open about the challenges she faced behind the scenes of her onscreen life.

The couple have famously survived many low points in the early stages of their romance especially, with Maureen admitting she was forced to give up a cocaine habit following a make-or-break ultimatum from Michael.

The two tied the knot in 1985, at the height of her destructive drug addiction.

McCormick and Cummings opened up about the secret to their longtime marriage late last year, admitting they put in ‘a lot of work’ for their ‘lifetime deal’ to thrive as it has so far.

‘You’ve got to have a sense of humor about things,’ her husband told People in September.

‘You can’t take things too seriously. You got to let things go and just love the one you’re with. It’s a lifetime deal.’

The actress also stressed the importance of ‘celebrating the differences.’

And about their milestone anniversary, McCormick said: ‘Honestly, we haven’t stopped celebrating, because I think it’s taken a lot of work to be at this place in our relationship.’

She added: ‘It’s better than ever. We feel very grateful and thankful to have found each other.’

McCormick was just 13 years old when she rose to fame as a child star as one of the original members of the Brady Bunch family.

She charmed audiences as the pretty and popular Marcia Brady, older sister to siblings Peter, Jan, Bobby, and Cindy – for five seasons before the show went off air in 1974.

She would go on to reprise her role in various Brady Bunch spinoffs after the show’s original run concluded as well as guest starring in TV series and movies throughout the 70s and 80s.

But the series’s cancellation also saw her fall into crippling substance abuse which derailed her career and nearly ended her marriage to her husband.

She admitted in her 2008 memoir that her turning point came when Cummings gave her a stark ultimatum to choose between getting sober or a divorce.

For his part, Michael has also enjoyed a stellar career as a TV and movie actor, appearing on popular series including Criminal Minds, Fresh Off the Boat, Miracle on Ice, and Drop-Out Father alongside Dick Van Dyke, to name a few.
