Dianne Buswell has shared a ‘soon’ update with fans as they eagerly await news of the Strictly Come Dancing star giving birth to her first child.
The professional dancer announced in September that she was pregnant, with the joyous news coming several years after she and her boyfriend Joe Sugg met and fell in love while taking part in the hit BBC One dance show together back in 2018, making the final before losing out to eventual winners, and fellow lovebirds, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.
To reveal their news, Dianne and Joe shared an adorable announcement video on Instagram, which was set to the iconic Elton John track, Tiny Dancer, and told their loyal following: “Our little baby boy [heart emoji]. We cannot wait to meet you.”
Dianne went on to compete in the most recent run of Strictly, where she was paired with and competed alongside Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis. Unfortunately, they had to withdraw from the competition due to Stefan sustaining an injury, while Dianne continued to perform in group routines and support her co-stars until the end of the series in December.
But now, after a visit back to Australia to spend Christmas with family, and filming a new TV show, Raiders of the Lost Crafts, for Sky History, Dianne and Joe are now counting down to the moment they got to meet their baby boy.

In an Instagram post shared over the weekend, Dianne shared a string of snaps, which confirmed she is still pregnant as she was seen with her blossoming baby bump. “Another week with the bump,” Dianne captioned the post, adding a blue heart emoji.
It was at the end of the post that the mum-to-be commented: “Gonna miss the bump,” before adding in response to a photo of herself and Joe: “Soon there will be a little dude in our arms.”
And it seems Dianne’s Strictly co-stars are just as eager for her son’s arrival. Vito Coppola said: “Let’s gooooooooo [heart emojis].” Amy Dowden gushed: “The excitement is unreal.” Lauren Oakley added: “Come on baby baby, I wanna squeeeeze you!”
It comes as Joe was also seen confirming that he and Dianne were still waiting the imminent arrival of their first child, with the YouTube star paying tribute to her on Mother’s Day.
Posting a picture of the pair to his Instagram Story on Sunday (March 15) as Mother’s Day was marked in the UK, Joe wrote: “And also Happy Mother’s Day to this soon to be mumma (when baby finally decides he’s had enough in there… I’m sure he’s sending his regards from the womb [crying laughing face and heart emojis]).”
